My name is Erik or E-Dragon for short (self proclaimed Nickname)
I am a runner by heart and an awesome screenprinter by trade.
Reasons why I am writing is to get my running friends more deeply connected to the running community and the experiences that we deal with everyday as runner.
With this blog you will laugh, you will cry and you will feel unprovocable joy in know that the feelings you have felt are not your own. We feel them too and we appreciate it as runners that we can associate with each other and talk about it.
My experiences are my own and are driven by my passion for running so dont try to steal them. Well just a little bit.

The plan is to meet Joel for an easy warm up before we start an easy 8 mile progressive (6:30 to 5:35) at the beautiful trails from Tobin Park Trail head. Mileage 16 miles
The plan was simple warm up before the race to get ready to run a 13 mile progressive run at 6:00 min pace and to drop consistently to 5:30 min per mile or as close as possible. Today we met with some of the fastest runners in San Antonio to run from McAllister park and it is Alamo City Running Clubs biggest gathering to date. Weather: 70 feels like 85
Base is important for anyone training for the marathon weather you are training for a 2hr marathon or 8hr marathon. The mileage has to be put in for the body to adjust to running the distance. Today I met with my new coach.
It felt good to plan my goals for the future. Even though I might not be fast enough to do any damage it is nice to have something to shoot for. It has been to many times in the last 5 years that I have tried to train myself and set goals and fall short because of no accountability to myself.

Today I ran probably one of the funnest and most beautiful races that I have ever ran.
It was test to my abilities and also a test of my mind.
You can look at life in the negative and be a downer or you can look at life the way I looked at this race through my experience
