E-Dragon Experience

My name is Erik or E-Dragon for short (self proclaimed Nickname)

I am a runner by heart and an awesome screenprinter by trade.

Reasons why I am writing is to get my running friends more deeply connected to the running community and the experiences that we deal with everyday as runner.

With this blog you will laugh, you will cry and you will feel unprovocable joy in know that the feelings you have felt are not your own. We feel them too and we appreciate it as runners that we can associate with each other and talk about it.

My experiences are my own and are driven by my passion for running so dont try to steal them. Well just a little bit.

Anyway welcome to my journey and step into the mind of E-Dragon Experiences.

Below is the pictures that define my passions and life

Tuesday August 25th 2017

Temperature: 78

Humidity: 85

Felt like: 82

Mileage: 10

The plan is to meet Joel for an easy warm up before we start an easy 8 mile progressive (6:30 to 5:35) at the beautiful trails from Tobin Park Trail head. Tobin Park trail head as a real treat for my running, its in the middle of the city, most if it asphalt and it is completely shaded with forest like trees all around. The only downside to running from Tobin is that it only goes...

Temperature: 78

Humidity: 65

Felt Like: 85

Mileage 16 miles

The plan was simple warm up before the race to get ready to run a 13 mile progressive run at 6:00 min pace and to drop consistently to 5:30 min per mile or as close as possible. Luckily I had very good help from one of my speedy friends who was going to do the same but a little faster. Decided to do his plan (5:50 to 5:00) for as long as my body could hold up and then just ...

Thursday 20th 2017

Mileage: 10.5

New Chapter (NEW COACH)

Today I met with my new coach.

It felt good to plan my goals for the future. Even though I might not be fast enough to do any damage it is nice to have something to shoot for. It has been to many times in the last 5 years that I have tried to train myself and set goals and fall short because of no accountability to myself.

However, With new starts come new opportunites, new adventures and new heights. With the help of my coach anc the tenacity that I new is beating ins...

Today I ran probably one of the funnest and most beautiful races that I have ever ran.

It was test to my abilities and also a test of my mind.

You can look at life in the negative and be a downer or you can look at life the way I looked at this race through my experience

Check it out for yourself.

Love every moment of your life and don't forget to stop by and enjoy the mud un...

Big Cottonwood Review

Posted by Erik on September 23, 2014 at 9:15 AM Comments comments (0)
Today was the first time my wife would toe the line for a full marathon, we were both nervous and excited at the same time. We felt we were prepared with the mileage we put in and also the training that our amazing coach Machelle had given us. The start took longer than we thought so we were forced to freeze 30 degree weather in 8700 altitude for an extra 25 minutes longer than we were prepared to. Even so we didn't mind as we did a futile attempt at warming up with a 1 mile shake out run for ou... Read Full Post »
